DRAMA

   

My group and I have changed our movie idea to a drama . After discussing our ideas into our selected groups in class.We thought a drama was better because it was easier to create a film opening for this rather than a thriller/horror because with thriller/horror we would need makeup and multiple costumes. With our budget its just much easier to do a drama where we don't need much costume or makeup. A drama film is a " serious presentation or story with real life situations that portray realistic characters." In the real world today teenagers like our selves make stupid decisions that can impact our lives and sometimes causing pain to other families in relation to these actions. My group has been discussing this project in english but this is what I've heard so far.The opening is going to start off with shot of trees at markham park  with a tilt in the camera for a couple seconds. In the next cut we are going to have a group of kids in a car being rowdy and singing along to music but one of the boys in the back seat will be silent with his hand on his head leaning on the door. While the kid is leaning on the door he will be scrolling through twitter looking at tweets that say RIP "Timmy" from three weeks ago. The next scene will be of all the kids eating somewhere and hanging out and they are like "come on eddy get over it , yea its sad but its been three weeks". Eddy then says "how can i get over it if i was so close to him?"
